Job DescriptionFor over 30 years, Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons has been providing the highest quality vision & surgical care in a compassionate, caring environment. Comprised of state-of-the-art Laser Vision, Cataract, Glaucoma, & Corneal Centers, our physicians have been featured in the Guides to Americas Top Optometrists & Ophthalmologists since 1996. Our state of the art Eye Surgery & Laser Center, Saint Clare Surgery Center, is seeking a full time Patient Service Representative. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets patients upon arrival & checks them in for appointment
• Updates insurance information & verifies demographic information is correct
• Performs clerical tasks such as chart preparation, copying, sorting, scanning, & facsimiles
• Answers inbound telephone calls from patients
• Communicates effectively & professionally with physicians, co-workers, management & patients
• Adheres to organizational policy & procedure
• Adheres to Service Excellence Standards of Performance
• Performs general office duties & other duties as assignedHours:
  • Variable hours Monday thru Friday, no weekends, on-call or holidays
  • Full Time PositionRequirementsMinimum Education Requirements:
    • High school diplomaMinimum Experience Requirements:
      • Front Office Medical practice experience preferred, but not required
      • Typing/data entry experience
      • Strong background in customer service
