  Our client has enjoyed significant company growth organically and through acquisition with aggressive goals to continue that trajectory. The Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing is expected to be a major player in moving those goals forward with best-practices and significant contributions to next-generation sales channels and delivery methods. Reporting to the CEO, the Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for generating revenue and the execution of the company's annual sales and marketing plan. This is achieved through leading and directing the sales and marketing team to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, working with direct reports including the VP of Customer Experience, Director of Sales, and the Strategic Account Directors, to build and maintain key customer relationships, manage people, assist in the sales/marketing process, and improve company processes. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES-- Create and implement the annual sales and marketing budget-- Assist in developing plans and strategies to achieve the sales goals while building brand awareness and gaining market share-- Create and implement plans to utilize cutting edge marketing technology, platforms, and initiatives-- Create a culture of success and ongoing business development and goal achievement-- Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction-- Set an example for fiscal responsibility for the company-- Define and coordinate sales and marketing training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company objectives-- Assist in providing accurate sales forecasting-- Monitor industry, customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback-- Drive sales with successful marketing programs, innovation, and customer experiences-- Travel for meetings with customers and trade shows as needed DIRECT REPORTS
