occasional first shift duties)
2. An associate/more junior level electrician for a first/Day shift
role ( with occasional off shift coverage responsibilities.)
What You Will Be Doing
The Electrician/Plant Electrician is responsible for building and
installing new electrical equipment, as well as troubleshooting and
repairing all electrical equipment in the plant on a
proactive/preventive basis and as needed.
-Repairs and Maintains machinery and equipment: mixers, conveyors,
stackers/destackers, heaters, etc.
-Installs and repairs equipment including electrical equipment
-Starts, stops and operates equipment to diagnoses equipment
failures, determine cause, repair, and troubleshoot
-Dismantles devices to gain access and repair/replace defective
-Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
-Sets up and operates welder, grinder, and other metalworking tools
to make and repair parts
-Initiates request orders for parts and machines
-Troubleshoots programmable Logic control systems and control
wiring to determine problems
-Repairs/replaces control devices: switches, photo eyes, proximity
sensors, push buttons, contact blocks, motor starters, etc.
-Knows location of all equipment in the plant
-Shares Concerns about unsafe conditions with fellow workers and
-Handles, stores, and uses hazardous chemicals in accordance with
safe procedures as specified on the labels and material safety data
-Properly executes Confined Space Entry and Lock Tag Try
-Understands and executes Emergency Action Plans and Procedures
related to the work area.
-Participates actively in all safety programs established in the

At Least 3-5 Years of experience and knowledge of:
-3 or more years related experience and/or training in an
