Job Description Description A Brief Overview

• Demonstrable skill and proficiency in all expected areas of Grade 1 plus can work multiple areas and/or sites independently
• Performs ancillary testing, assists on projects and takes on additional tasks(QC, QA, grossing of additional non-bx specimen types, etc.) as needed under supervision, follows all hospital policies and procedures consistently.
• Processes tissue samples by embedding, sectioning and staining slides for histological diagnosis. Additional Responsibilities

    • Associate's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. (Required)
    • Bachelor's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. preferred Work Experience
      • 2+ years experience preferred or at a minimum a graduate from a certified HT program with 2 years work experience. (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
