Forklift Operator Local Cleveland Metal Recycling Co looking for a full-time Forklift Operator!This is a temp to hire opportunity. 1st shift Mon- Fri6:30a-3:30pPay is $16-17/hr We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery, including forklifts, skidsteers, and front end loaders, to perform a variety of tasks. This position is outside!Key Responsibilities:Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain heavy machinery, including forklifts, skidsteers, and front end loaders, according to established procedures and safety guidelines.Material Handling: Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate placement and distribution.Site Preparation: Perform tasks such as grading, excavation, and landscaping to prepare sites for construction or other projects.Transport: Move materials and equipment within the worksite or between locations, adhering to load limits and safety standards.Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning.
