• And moreJob DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing construction projects in the healthcare and hospital sectors. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and advancement.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential construction issues and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other project-related meetings as required
  • Prepare and submit bid proposals and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors
  • Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to healthcare and hospital constructionQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare and hospital construction
    • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
    • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
