Home office positions follow a hybrid work model that allows for 2 days of remote work (Wed/Fri) and 3 days of onsite work (Mon/Tue/Thurs) following 30 days of employment.

Job Summary:
The market research analyst is responsible for outlining and executing our Voice of Customer programs, with the end goal of uncovering actionable insights about the Heinen's Customer. This team member will work cross-functionally with many areas of the business, including Operations, Product Owners, Marketing, and Senior Leadership, to drive standard and ad-hoc market research projects from inception to postmortem. This associate will allow us to link the customer perspective to the initiatives and changes we implement at Heinen's.

  • Leads Heinen's primary research efforts by developing & executing customer surveys and leveraging internal data to develop a holistic view on customer sentiment as it relates to Heinen's products, solutions, and initiatives.
  • Oversight for Heinen's long-term customer survey feedback program, including monitoring trends at a macro and store level, administering reporting tools across the organization, working with store teams to action on developed insights, and partnering with leadership for integrated measurement of customer sentiment related to organizational change.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to define primary research objectives and develop market research surveys with associated calendars and customer feedback loops. Leverage ongoing feedback on reporting, insights and feedback channels for continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Presents key findings from research projects and data analysis to all levels of the organization in a variety of outputs, including summary emails, dashboards, and formal presentations with a focus on action and change recommendations.
  • Manages external vendor relationships to ensure primary research tools are optimal for Heinen's and advocate for service level changes as business needs evolve.
  • Works with leadership to create vision for growth of VOC program, including continued organizational adoption, additional solutions for program, improved efficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Assists with company-wide customer KPI reporting to help support a broader organizational understanding of customer performance.
  • Supports for consumer targeting and/or segmentation projects, including but not limited to campaign target development, segment management and trend assessment, and campaign target performance.
  • Ad hoc data analysis and reporting projects as needed. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field of study.
    • 3+ years working in a primary research, consumer insights, CRM, or related field.
    • Qualtrics or Medallia experience strongly preferred.
    • Collaborative attitude is essential, must be able to engage stakeholders and serve as a market research champion proactively & empathetically.
    • Demonstrated expertise in advanced Microsoft applications. SQL/SAS experience preferred.
    • Able to appropriately communicate complex analysis to team members across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong problem-solving, presentation, time management, and prioritization skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines on multiple concurrent projects.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
