Through our global sales and manufacturing networks, we are able to deliver the products and services our customers need, where and when they need them. -Supply Chain Intern(Full-Time Summer 2023, Part-Time Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Semester) -What will you gain from this internship opportunity? -Presentation, professional communication, and analytical skills.Extensive training in Microsoft Office, SAP, BOBJ, and other valuable software utilized by the company.Overall understanding of corporate and departmental objectives.Work closely with global and regional Supply Chain Planners/Schedulers, Managers and Directors.Opportunity to work with Lubrizol's Procurement and Logistics groupsOwn, develop, enhance, and implement processes.Work in a team environment to progress initiatives and goals.Access to mentors, planned social events, and educational opportunities.Discussion and exploration of opportunities for data analysis tools like Power Bi -Duties and Responsibilities: -Develop and interpret analytical reports using SAP, Excel, and other internal tools.Support cross-functional and cross-organizational sourcing initiatives and strategies.Improve Operational Excellence by tracking and reporting key processes and metrics to management.Work with departments outside of Supply Chain such as Finance, Trade Compliance, and IS to complete cross-functional tasksRun analyses to check compliance for key Supply Chain policies and proceduresPartner with global colleagues to standardize practices and run various analyses.Work with our Strategic Planners to build trajectory and asset plans for the Business UnitsDue to significant amount of product moved around the globe daily, coordinate -resources that can help us to maximize efficiencies when moving product -(whether truck, railcar, or bulk marine vessel)Opportunity to work with Indirect Procurement to develop data, execute, and manage sourcing events in Ariba.Utilize project management skills to execute multiple project tasks simultaneously.Requirements:This internship spans May 2023 -- May 2024.
