Alliance Solutions Group has partnered with our food manufacturing client in Bedford, Ohio for their DIRECT-HIRE Quality Assurance Technician opening. Our client is looking for individuals with prior experience in the food and beverage industry, or individuals with a food or scientific degree.*Position Highlights: ** Direct-Hire position with excellent benefits* 12 paid holidays* Pay range: $18 to $21 per hour* Shift: 1st shift for the first half of the year, 3rd shift for the second half of the year* Overtime available*Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities: ** Check production lines for quality (weights, metal detection, lot code, etc.)* Perform routine job inspections for safe conditions and practices* Assist the Quality Manager with training as requested* Investigate accidents to identify needed corrective actions* Enforce compliance to the Food Safety Plan* Sample and release incoming ingredients and packaging* Place non-conforming product on hold or release as necessary* Communicate quality issues to Operations* Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices on the production floor* Conduct and maintain ATP cleaning and Environmental swabs per company's SOPs#ASGFSJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
