Position Summary

Responsible for the accuracy, integrity, control and timeliness of payroll reports, analyses, systems, and processes. Process, monitor, manage and reconcile payroll at the employer/employee paygroup level. Coordinate with IT and external resources for payroll information. Functional responsibility includes reconciliation of division provided payroll information, reconciliation to the general ledger as well as to Payroll reports, preparation of external reports and recording of journal vouchers. Assure that internal controls, Parker policy and regulatory compliance is maintained. Responsible for the accuracy, integrity, control, and timeliness of payroll processing. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Does Not Have Direct Reports* Works with all operational units, corporate/staff and select third parties in ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures while maintaining accounting controls



Support division sites by reviewing system errors, clearing open items, and responding to questions regarding system operations and procedures. Identify improvement opportunities that will improve payroll accuracy and reduce processing time and errors. Maintain accounting controls by auditing for compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Writes and recommends policies and procedures. Audit payroll transactions as required. Review daily reports for accuracy and completeness. Submit and process executive payroll as well as other assigned pay groups. Balance and validate payroll processes. Perform assign account analysis, journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Assist in validation of W-2 processing. Process payment corrections; voids/reissues. May lead or be assigned to a special project team. Establishes goals and objectives required to complete projects. Trains and mentors team members. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities.



Bachelor's degree (BS) 3+ years experience in a high volume payroll environment. Experience with UKG/Ultipro experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and problem solving experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
