Religious and medical exemptions are available when applicable.Summary of Position:Assist credit manager in the collection and analysis of credit data and to estimate the degree of credit risk involved in extending credit to customers by performing the following duties.Key Accountabilities:Collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable for assigned area or regionSAP account maintenanceDownloading reports on new and/or existing customers for credit reviewMaintaining adequate electronic and paper-based credit filesReview and release of blocked sales documents as appropriateRepresent the credit department and communicate regularly with customers as well as internal departments within the companyAs necessary, contact banks, trade and credit references, salespeople, and others to obtain credit informationSubmit requests to maintain customer master data for accounts in a timely mannerEvaluate results of investigations, report findings, and customer payment history and submit credit limit reviews to credit management for approval.Assist in maintaining customer credit historiesMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.Minimum six months experience in commercial credit.General computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook).Ability to communicate, either written or verbal, in a knowledgeable, clear, and positive manner.
