Because our focus is not only on nourishing our customers, it's about enriching you!Position summary:The Compensation Analyst will contribute to the department by reviewing job requirements and evaluating job positions to ensure the job is accurately leveled, market priced, and matched to the Global Job Catalog. The compensation analyst will ensure the job catalog is market priced using Marketpay and mapping to surveys based on a set of criterial to ensure Nestle is paying competitively in the market place. In addition, this position will develop Compensation tools and reports for HRBPs and Managers to ensure they are paying competitively based on performance, with focus on over achievement, and leveraging Total Rewards. This position will assist the Senior Compensation Manager by continuously monitoring the effectiveness of compensation programs and initiatives created by the Zone and Corporate Nestl-- S.A. Compensation teams by developing impact analysis of these programs as they relate to the general competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, best-practice, and/or legal issues. During large projects this position will assist in providing support to the compensation team member who is leading the project by providing audit, communication development, and testing support.Primary Responsibilities:Market Pricing and Salary Administration* Coordinate and participate in all facets of Nestl--'s compensation benchmarking/market-pricing. This will include job matching, attending industry survey meetings, preparing survey submissions, and analyzing survey results.* Prepare a compensation recommendation for review by the Customer Facing Compensation Consultant or Sr Compensation Director.* Conduct job analysis/evaluation, new job code/title approvals, internal equity studies, market pricing, Fair Labor Standards Act evaluations, and other special studies such as EEO audits, etc.Company-wide Compensation Initiatives* Evaluate new compensation initiatives by providing an impact analysis to the Compensation Manager and Sr Director of Compensation. This will include evaluating the overall impact to existing processes, how data is maintained in SAP, and the legal issues. Current programs consist of the Global Job Code mapping and Job Title Consistency projects.* Review executive jobs using the MaGS (IPE3 MERCER) process and submit to Compensation Manager for approval. After receiving approval send to Nestl-- S.A. for final approval by entering in the ReD system. Run reports in SAP to identify new positions missing MaGS. For E and above roles, submit via ReD.* Prepare salary revision documents for submission to Zone HR. Review the NSRM with the Compensation Manager and develop a NiM Salary Increase Matrix. Present this to the Customer Facing Compensation Team for sharing with the NiM HR Heads. Upon approval, submit to Corporate/Zone HR For Final approval.* Manage the ISR/LTIP Process by working with the Compensation Consultants, HRBPs, Global Mobility as the project manager. Set up the Global Grading system used in the ISR and ensure the Global LTIP Grants are entered in the system via collaboration with the Manager or HRBP.Compensation Surveys* Responsible for completing compensation surveys and mapping to the Job Catalog. Review changes to the data and share with the Sr Compensation Manager for review.* Attend Industry compensation meetings, participate in industry surveys, and conduct special surveys for Nestle to ensure competitiveness for new roles or jobs identified as having high turnover.* Provide summaries and after action reviews of Annual Survey process. Assess the return on investment of each survey and get alignment from the compensation team.Bonus, Merit and Equity* Participate in the processing of bonus payouts taking direction from the project lead. Provide bonus reports for Customer Facing Consultants to review, etc* Participate in the review of Merit systems ensuring the systems are working accurately* Calculate and Communicate Sales Quarterly incentives for OPCOs* Complete the Pay Equity sheets for the CF team by reviewing the algorithm with the team and developing tools for managers to quickly identify issuesAnalysis* Develop analysis to measure overall effectiveness of Pay for Performance by OPCO/ELT.* Participate in developing dashboards and metrics for the HRBPs and Customer Facing teams to measure:Market Competitiveness* Gender and Diversity Pay Equity* Total Rewards Usage* Recognition UsageExperience and Minimum Education Level Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field* Significant, directly related work experience in compensation in excess of the minimum required may be considered in lieu of the baccalaureate degree. The successful candidate's professional experience should demonstrate application of skills at the level of an advanced analyst* 3+ years experience in HR, preferably in compensationSkills:* A high level of demonstrated analytical skills in order to analyze, relate, interpret job duties and responsibilities, to include pricing against external benchmarks of an occupationally diverse organization. A high level of interpersonal and oral and written communications skills to effectively advise, make constructive recommendations in the resolution of pay-related issues and provide information. This position requires strong PowerPoint skills to prepare Executive Compensation Committee presentations. Also, this position works with large Excel Spreadsheets and requires advanced Word and PowerPoint skills to develop many of the communications.
