Summary:
The CNC Machinist will have a variety of daily responsibilities including operating CNC Machine equipment, gaging parts, making dimensional offsets, preparing raw material, and keeping the area clean. - The machinist will be responsible for routine maintenance on the machines and must also be able to follow specific instructions and work in a safety-oriented manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC equipment
• Check parts off machine to ensure they comply with print specifications
• Change tools as necessary to ensure dimensional compliance
• Make dimensional offsets on computer to ensure compliance
• Move material or assist with equipment when needed
• Clean work area, including mopping
• Perform various maintenance activities
• Work with office and supporting departments
  Qualification Requirements:
  • Must be able to read non digital micrometers
  • Must be able to read blue prints
  • Must be able to do mathematics: add, subtract, multiply, divide, geometry and trigonometry.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Must be detail oriented in order to ensure parts meet print specifications
  • Must be cooperative and a team player
  • Must have good communication skills
    Physical Demands:
    
    While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to:
    • Sit, stand and walk on oily surfaces
    • Moving material routinely
