Your Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Support the applicable BU requirements to achieve the correct cost structure, launches on time and technical cost reduction initiatives.
  
• Project Management for Launching BU projects (pursuing and awarded) with Purchasing.
  
• Drive Category Purchasing for results in RFQ's, Kickoff, and Followup for on-time delivery to meet necessary milestones.
  
• Participate and/or lead Technical Cost-Saving initiatives for the assigned/respective Projects.
  
• Support Budget process for department and third party costs.
  
• Drive for continuous improvement of processes with a goal of reducing total costs.
  
• Support in developing and implementing activities that are in alignment with Divisional and Corporate strategic Purchasing initiatives for the component area.
  
• New Supplier search and development to support the Business Unit Purchasing Projects
  
• Create, Manage, and Support PPA projects from Purchasing input in NA which will be handled by applicable NA Business Unit Purchasing -team.
  
• Support for NA footprint strategy development and implementation.
  
  Your Qualifications
  • 
    
  • University BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering a Plus
    
  • 3 to 5 years Purchasing or relevant Program/Project Management preferred
    
  • Strong negotiation, Project Management and Problem Solving Skills
    
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional teams
    
  • Excellent PC skills
