PURPOSE: Drive the execution of mechanical design for medium-to-large customer environmental fume extraction projects. - Utilize quotes and marked up layouts from Sales to mechanically design and layout the equipment within a customers' facilities for installation. - Communicate with Environmental Specialists and directly with the customer in order to ensure constructible designs. - Customer visits to understand customer design goals and constraints and develop a layout solution for easy installation.



JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

• 
  
• To Become the Environmental technical expert for system designs & layouts - perform training
  
• Prepare detailed mechanical CAD layout drawings per Lincoln Electric standards. - Follow company procedures for drawing modification, securing, and distribution.
  
• Ability to manipulate CAD views to redesign, modify, or otherwise edit existing design.
  
• Reviews drawings to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy of drawing.
  
• Ability to read and understand facility Architectural and Engineering drawings.
  
• Have a good working understanding of the mechanical and electrical codes and regulations that are required to be met for the work that is being performed. -
  
• Some travel will be required to customer facilities for site surveying. -

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Degree in Bachelors of Science in Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field. -
      
    • Good overall background in drafting and proficient in CAD design, (Solid Edge preferred).
      
    • Minimum 5 years engineering, design, or project experience.
      
    • A good mechanical background and must be quality conscious and detail oriented.

      • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        
      • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
        
      • Ability to lead others and communicate cross-functionally.
        
      • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and external customers
        
      • Must have proven ability to work well independently, as well as part of a group
        
      • Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
