Your Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assembling and development of prototype/production progressive and transfer dies in a timely manner
  
• Track all detail components through the tool room and perform final inspections on quality and function
  
• Run assembled dies on prototype or production press for try-outs and propose further development steps
  
• Analyze measurement results on components/parts according to blueprints
  
• Maintain production dies according to blueprints
  
• Sharpen, inspect, and repair tooling as needed -once sent to production
  
  Your Qualifications
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Toolmaker Journeyman

    • 
      
    • Five years toolroom experience within a metal forming environment
      
    • Proficiency in blueprint reading, metal forming knowledge, measurement accuracy, metal cutting practices
      
    • Problem solving skills, ability to analyze strips to -make die improvements - - - -
