Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Under the supervision of the Specialized Dockets Manager and in
collaboration with the Jurists responsible for the hearing of the
Reentry Court, Juvenile Drug Court, Phoenix Court, Safe Harbor and
Family Drug Treatment Court dockets, ensures that the data is
collected and maintained from each docket, ensures that each docket
operates within the guidelines of the law and certification if
applicable.
Acts as a liaison between Juvenile Court and community partners in
Cuyahoga County involved with Specialized Dockets.
Collects and maintains data that provides statistical information
regarding participants including recidivism, use of services,
graduation, and success rates.
Assists in case planning and the identification of service gaps and
needs.
Develops individualized treatment plans for participants on the
Safe Harbor Docket.
Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings to help identify
and coordinate necessary referrals to service providers.
Plans and coordinates advisory board meetings, special events and
graduations.
Assists in the development and implementation of decisions and
policies within each docket.
Develops and maintains policies and procedures handbooks and all
documents associated with the Specialized Dockets.
Assists Programming, Training, and Quality Assurance (PTQA) in
identifying funding sources.
Maintains contact with services providers to ensure timely response
of treatment.
Plans and facilitates community education to increase awareness of
the Specialized Dockets.
Develops and oversees educational programs for participants and
their families on the effects of human trafficking and trauma.
Performs other duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Has no direct supervisory responsibility for staff members.
Equipment Operated
Standard office equipment and office technology such as copy
machines, personal computers and telephones.
Confidential Data
All court-related information regarding hearings, etc. that the
employee may come in contact with by working in the facility.
Working Conditions
Works in a general office setting with moderate noise levels. This
position is also subject to frequent interruptions and quick
turnarounds.
Usual Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required
to sit, to speak clearly, and to hear. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of
program design and development; must possess demonstrable knowledge
of the juvenile justice system and the specialized docket
philosophy; must be well organized and efficient; ability to
effectively collect and analyze data; ability to prioritize and
manage time effectively; demonstrable leadership skills; ability to
maintain confidentiality; ability to effectively problem-solve;
ability to utilize a personal computer; prefer knowledge of
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; knowledge of grants. Ability to
interact professionally with a wide variety of people and groups.
Ability to flex hours and work outside of regular business hours to
accommodate programs and potential late court hearings.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services/Behavioral Health/Social
Science or related area, with knowledge of addiction, trauma
response, and family-centered treatment.
AND
5 years of related work experience in the juvenile justice system
and/or case management.
