**Description**We are hiring for our Brooklyn, OH and Rossford, OH
offices! Founded in 1934, Medical Mutual is the oldest and one of

including stop loss, as well as Medicare Advantage, Medicare
Supplement and individual plans. Medical Mutual is searching for
Customer Service professionals that have a passion for helping
members and providers. This position is temporarily remote until
further notice. We offer starting wages between $18.00 - $20.00 per
hour. The qualified candidate will resolve and respond to customer
inquiries regarding the Company's health insurance products and
services. Navigates systems and provides customer service in
accordance with established quality expectations and service
philosophy. Medical Mutual provides a paid, 9- month long, formal
training program (next class scheduled to begin on March 14, 2022),
with a promotion upon completion. Shift premium for scheduled work
hours after 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays. **Responsibilities***
Participates in a phased classroom and on the job training program
in order to learn and be able to apply knowledge and skills needed
to perform job. Identifies and resolves potential processing
concerns that may affect member. Communicates, in writing and/or
telephone, findings, decisions, rationale for denial or approval
and/or requests for additional information or follow-up on previous
requests. * Responds to routine to moderately complex inquiries
from customers through telephone, written correspondence, email and
chat after successfully completing the established training
requirements. **Qualifications****Qualifications** * Associates
Degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related
field, or equivalent combination of education/training (minimum
high school diploma or GED) and experience. Bachelor's degree
preferred. * 2 years of additional customer service experience in
Healthcare, Banking, Retail, Hospitality, or other related
industry, preferably in a contact center. Experience in appeals
and/or correspondence preferred. * Basic computer navigation and
Microsoft Office skills. * Knowledge of standard customer service
practices and principles. * Knowledge of standard office procedures
and equipment (multi-function copier/printer/scanner, conference
phone, etc.) * Basic knowledge of health insurance products and
