Video Content Creator (equine photography or equestrian experience required) -Position Summary: -Schneider Saddlery is seeking a full-time Video Content Creator whose primary objective is to shoot, edit and catalog video assets. This position will collaborate with our Creative, Marketing, and Merchandising teams---as well as external vendors to generate, gather, store, and distribute video assets. The Video Content Creator will be responsible for videoing products for our e-commerce site, social platforms, and other video needs in a way that highlights key features and benefits and will allow us to stand out in the marketplace. Equine videography or equestrian experience is required. The Video Content Creator reports to the Creative Manager and will have a work schedule that will be a blend of in-office, on location, and remote work, but must be local to the Chagrin Falls, OH/Cleveland, OH area.Primary Responsibilities: -

• Coordinate videography, including pulling product, storyboard, shot list, and video shoot checklist ensuring the office knows time away and who is attending, on-site directing and shooting, saying and tagging files appropriately, and reporting cost and cost efficiency of shoot of studio videos.
  • Organize and manage the video database by cataloging and adding metadata and keywords to all assets and creating an efficient and easy-to-use folder structure. -
  • Filming video on set and location
  • Editing footage after recording
  • Adding computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to footage.Skills & Qualifications: -
    • 3-5 years as a videographer/photographer in the equestrian industry. Retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
      • Significant experience as an equine videographer or significant personal experience as an equestrian. Knowledge and understanding of products for the equine and equestrian and comfort working with and handling horses in a variety of environments.--- -
      • Post-secondary degree in videography or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of college degree.--- -
      • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Bridge & Photoshop)--- -
      • Flexible team player and collaborator with strong initiative and attention to detail. -
