Solution Architect - Azure Data Analytics/Data Platform - - Job Summary Core BTS is looking for an Azure Data and Analytics Consultant to join our growing team. - - You -will work alongside -your peers to design, build, and -deliver end-to-end -data and analytics -solutions for enterprise clients. -You should have data engineering -experience in -Azure -and be familiar with -modern data platform technologies -like -Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, -and -Azure Data Factory. - Essential Duties

• Discuss best practices and strategies -for modern data -and -analytics -with clients -
• Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users - -
• Configure -and operationalize cloud -infrastructure in Azure - -
• Speak -intelligently -to Microsoft's cloud data strategy and roadmap - -
• Stay -up-to-date -on Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices - Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling
  • Data Warehousing
  • Data ETL/ELT
  • Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
  • T-SQL
  • Azure Data Factory (or strong SSIS experience)
  • Azure Data Lake Store
  • SQL Server/Azure SQL
  • Azure Analysis Services or -SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Tabular
  • Azure DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices
  • Ability to help clients identify their business needs/goals and direct them to a technical solution
  • Ability to independently architect a complete analytics solution
