Reuter-Stokes is seeking a PCB Designer whose primary responsibilities will be for the electrical design and support for the existing portfolio of products. Tasks will include design and design control for product changes that result from supplier changes, quality improvements, and cost reductions. Other responsibilities may include manufacturing support, electrical testing, and failure analysis.

As a PCB Designer you will be responsible for:

• Developing analog and digital signal processing electronics, either as improvements to existing designs or as part of new product development.
• Ensuring electrical component and system designs have appropriate analytical verification, production level validation, and field-testing.
• Documenting work products in written form, e.g. technical notes, design specifications, layouts/drawings
  
  To be successful in this role you will:
  
  • Have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience OR an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology with at least 10 years of experience. Educational requirements may be substituted with additional experience.
  • Experienced in PCB design using a variety of PCB CAD packages (OrCAD Layout desired)
  • Proficient in Altium, including ability to create and maintain PCB and Schematic libraries
  • Proficient in the creation of PCB documentation including clean schematic design, PCB fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings using the Altium-native Draftsman package.
  • Technical knowledge of PCB design concepts for low noise, high reliability, high voltage, and sensitive circuit techniques.
  • Technical understanding of electronic component specifications to aid in performing layout functions that accommodate enhancement of performance of components.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and communicate issues with maximum efficiency.
