Individuals in this role apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions and typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations. System Management Specialists with this skill focus on Distributed System Automation Tool Maintenance and have expertise in maintaining the tools, and related infrastructure necessary to automate system management tasks. This includes in particular monitoring, hardware management, endpoint management or scanning tools. Includes knowledge of system management software, knowledge of ITIL best practices, and applying IT Service Management processes to maintain the automation service supported by the tools maintained.
