Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY


Develop, implement and manage collaborative forecasts for all USC articles with a goal of +/- 15% error or better per current industry standards.





SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.


Complete management of USC Forecast portal, including:

Item set ups & deletion

Create and monitor forecast breakouts by item and customer based on preferred shipping locations and USC production sites.

User creation, training, and problem resolution.

Yearly Budget creation.







Create and maintain reports in Board Intelligence system for use by all departments of USC.

Main point of contact for Walmart replenishment analysts including all required reporting.

Handles special projects as assigned by sales, planning, marketing and upper management.

Other duties as assigned.





EXPERIENCE
4 years comparable experience working with retail customers



EDUCATION
BS Degree in related field



SKILLS
Microsoft: PowerPoint, Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced); Board Business Intelligence; US Cotton Forecast Portal; AS400-Datatex; vendor portals including but not limited to Walmart Retail Link, Shiloh, Target Partners On-Line
Must have effective interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels of the internal organization as well as outside customers.



SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of standard forecasting logic including: seasonality profiling, roll out and end of product life planning, comparative sales analysis and forecast accuracy reporting.
