Position Description The Chief of Staff is a key role on the account leadership team which will maintain strategic account planning and delivery, communications, and key performance indicator (KPI) development and alignment for tracking and reporting. This role will work with senior account leaders to develop and support strategic account initiatives, interface with key client personnel, and will be held accountable to develop and monitor critical business metrics that provide actionable information to the field teams, driving operational efficiency throughout the account. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Relationship Management * Support strategic goals and leadership team by ensuring account properly measures and reports performance. Work directly with the Account Executive, Client, and JLL Account Leadership team to lead, design and implement reporting tools, e.g. KPIs, SLAs, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports, etc. used to set and track JLL's performance. * Establish and maintain working relationships with all functional lines of business, and client contacts. Influence and engage accordingly to help drive functional excellence and continuous improvement. * Ensure strong linkage with and support of the client's performance management expectations and translate their business objectives into JLL's account business plan. * Work with on-account service line leaders to ensure their processes and our client's goals are aligned so we achieve and exceed KPIs. * Act as the primary contact for client's vendor management team, ensuring client requests are being acted on and deliverables are met. * Develop and articulate strategic initiatives with senior leadership. Communications & Reporting * Shape the overall strategic direction of all internal communications related to the account in order to promote awareness, engagement, understanding and transparency about strategy, company news, account news, goals, and achievements. * Work closely with executive, marketing, and sales leadership to establish collateral for and organize customer-facing meetings * Responsible for driving a consistent, formal communications framework for both internal and external communications. * Development and implementation of JLL-branded templates for full menu of communications tools, i.e. monthly reports, quarterly reports, annual reports, annual reviews, newsletters, account presentations, email blasts, and other communication tools; also responsible for ensuring account teams are trained and knowledgeable on use of templates * Ensure JLL value proposition - at client, corporate and account level - is being communicated correctly and consistently Operations * Design and run operating cadence for all recurring Revenue leadership meetings, including preparing agenda, speakers, action items, follow-up, etc. * Lead and run Monthly/Quarterly Business Review processes. Promote success powerfully, such that our client recognizes the value of our work. * * * Understand the client's key business drivers, focus the team to ensure those priorities are aligned with account deliverables. Regularly gain input and direction from client ensuring alignment. * Be able to interpret and have solid understanding of Master Service Agreement (MSA). Deep understanding of contract key performance indicator and reporting requirements. Ability to discover potential conflicts and to develop effective solutions. * Lead and run Monthly/Quarterly Business Review processes. Promote success powerfully, such that our client recognizes the value of our work. * Creation of an account Annual Plan with clearly set vision, mission, objectives and measureable goals of which are effectively cascaded and communicated globally on-account via various messaging vehicles such as Town Halls, Quarterly Reviews, Executive Messaging, etc. * Lead KPI tracking and reporting tools that at a minimum meet all the requirements within the MSA. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) * 8+ years of Real Estate management experience preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate and collaborate across many levels in the organization and with clients. * Client relationship management. Must be highly credible in front of senior executive-level client personnel. Represents ideas effectively with strong persuading and influencing skills, and powerfully communicates the value of our successes. * Strong project management, strategic planning and analytical skills with a track record of identifying potential issues pro-actively and formulating solutions and contingency plans. * Strong skills in areas of leadership, organization and execution while being results driven - the ability to analyze, act, and implement to ensure desired results are achieved. * Getting results from ad hoc groups of disparate people is critical. Key stakeholders and collaborators are geographically dispersed. * Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives. Able to work independently and be a team player * Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, tenacity and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
