full time Physician (Gastroenterologist) position.

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System seeks a full-time (8/8)
gastroenterologist/hepatologist at the Assistant Professor level.
Clinical focus will include hepatology, general gastroenterology
and basic endoscopy. Proficiency in transient elastography liver
testing, advanced endoscopic variceal treatment modalities, and
BC/BE in gastroenterology/hepatology is preferred. A specific
charge will be to build a program in liver diseases for the early
detection, identification and management of patients with advanced
liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma. This position offers
excellent opportunities for research, clinical and educational
collaboration with CWRU gastroenterology faculty as well as new
program development in the fields of liver disease and clinical

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular
salary increases.Education and length of practice will be
considered through a formal pay-setting process in determining the
final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay).
Paid Time Off: Annual leave at the rate of eight (8) hours per
biweekly pay period; Sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per
biweekly pay period; 10 paid Federal holidays per year.
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years' vesting) and
federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
