POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Systems Specialist is the Quality representative supporting and ensuring compliance set up of materials. --This includes investigation/deviation of Quality system compliance with materials and GLOBE functionality. --This person provides expertise and guidance to ensure compliance to material specifications. The position is instrumental in improving the Quality systems module of GLOBE and collaboration with site manufacturing. --The position will drive knowledge transfer and build capability in material risk cross functionally.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Management Data
---- --Set-up and maintain specifications for ZPCK, ROH, HALB, ZTRV, and FERT materials; based on Raw Material specifications, Market Documents, periodic test forms, release norms, QMS, change management requests, etc.--
---- --Issue resolution related to material specification requirements
---- --Support the development of system KPIs through Power BI reports

Operational Support
---- --Work directly with factory teams and other functions to ensure understanding material risk
---- --Identify, lead or manage Quality system improvements and investigations
---- --Implement factory impact changes with appropriate stakeholder management

System Compliance--
---- --Run health checks on routine basis associated with batch records, materials and inspection plans
---- --Maintain files of all changes made and document technical support
---- --Conduct compliance against data standards of GLOBE (LIMS)

Train and Develop
---- --Troubleshoot Globe issues affecting SAP, such as incorrect data entry, inspection plan build errors, lab linking data, etc.
---- --Coach GLOBE users on data extracts, setting up defaults, apps, and role requests
---- --Support and update SOPs and SAP guidance documents (Quick Reference Cards)

NCE
---- --Understand and apply the principles of NCE and continuous improvement in the work area
--REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
----
------- --Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Computer Science or equivalent field
------- --Food Safety Management System; Food Safety Team Leader or Qualified Internal Auditor), FSCC 22000 Food Safety Management Lead Auditor (or GFSI equivalent), Food Process/Product Experience--
------- --Travel - approx. 30%

EXPERIENCE:
------- --Minimum 2-3 years food-related quality assurance experience--
------- --Experience using specification systems and computer data management. --
------- --Food Safety & Quality Management System processes and procedures; implementation and auditing
------- --Hazard Analysis, Validation & Verification of PRP's and Control Measures and HACCP plans
------- --Preferred: Product development or material purchasing
SKILLS:
------- --Excellent interpersonal and self-initiative skills
------- --Systems thinking, problem solving and analytical skills--
------- --Plan and organize work effectively, detailed and results oriented.
------- --Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and LIMS is preferred
------- --Ability to work individually and be able to work effectively in a team environment
------- --Working knowledge of Food safety systems / PCQI
------- --Basic understanding of statistics
------- --Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing
------- --Ability to handle multiple priorities
