Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Provide legal advice to Human Resources and cross-functional partners on FLSA, ADA, Title VII, FMLA, leave laws, and other local, state, and federal laws.
  • Assist with litigation matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and other employment related claims.
  • Provide advise on updates to legislative and regulatory updates.
  • Advise the team on recruiting, hiring, performance managements, accommodations, leaves and separations.

    • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
    • License to practice law in at least one state
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department or combination of the two, with a significant concentration in employment-related matters
    • Excels in a collaborative, team-based work environment across various departments
    • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of successful prioritization
    • Available to work a hybrid schedule with both remote presence and 25% in office presence. (Corporate offices are located in Orrville, OH)
