Location: REMOTE or in Cleveland OH, Buffalo NY and Albany NY
Duration: 4-6 months plus extensions Top 3 things looking when
reviewing resumes. Must have hands on experience with Palo Alto
firewalls and Panorama. Preferred hands-on experience with F5 load
balancers. Preferred hands-on experience with Cisco routers and
switches. Job Brief: Lead and influence the design, delivery,
automation, and support of network infrastructure services and
solutions. This Lead Network Engineer position will have a primary
responsibility for networking security solutions supporting our
on-premises and off-premises cloud network services portfolio.
Additional responsibilities will include providing lead engineering
services supporting routing & switching platforms, load balancer
platforms and shared network IP services platforms. The Lead
Network engineer will be responsible to work with many diverse
organizations at Key Bank to ensure we collaborate and communicate
on the planning and delivery of all required technology and LOB
solutions. Solid communications skills and the ability to
prioritize work efforts are required. Required Qualifications :
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer
Science, Information Systems Management or similar 3-5 years'
overall IT experience working in a large enterprise environment 3-5
years' experience supporting and maintaining Palo Alto Network
Security platforms to include set-up, maintenance, upgrades, and
replacement of the latest Palo Alto systems. Experience with Palo
Alto firewall rules in a large, shared environment Demonstrate an
ability to craft and understand Palo Alto firewall rule deployments
Experience with other firewall technologies in Cloud Environments
(GCP, Azure, AWS, etc) Knowledge of both LAN/WAN designs and the
support processes for large network deployments Knowledge of
IPSec/VPN technology supporting a large enterprise Experience with
TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic 3-5 years of
hands-on experience with Cisco network technologies 3-5 years of
hands-on experience with F5 load balancer technologies Demonstrate
a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP network models
Experience in custom SSL, ciphers, and security traffic performance
optimization In-depth knowledge of networking and systems
administration; and the ability to troubleshoot problems
Programming experience with Python, Ansible and Terraform for
automation services Essential Job Functions: Independently builds,
maintains, and documents infrastructure components for work
assigned; performs reviews for all levels of engineering. Designs
solutions for the overall health, performance, and availability and
actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts
one or more environments, applications, or platforms. Assigns work,
mentors, and trains junior engineers; welcomes and encourages
upward feedback and perspectives from all levels of engineering.
Advocates for new technology and improvements that will reduce
expenses and/or improve efficiency; works cross-functionally to
find synergies. Recommends and influences IT standards (e.g. info
security, audit, compliance, etc.). Assists in the development of
strategies for building and maintaining new and existing solutions
and capabilities. Creates technical documentation, specifications,
and project artifacts to deliver mature monitoring, improved
resiliency, and high availability. Proposes high-level
infrastructure architectural guidelines. Formulates and designs
technical solutions to meet business needs and communicates
