Position: REMOTE Lead IT Project/Program (CRM) Manager (Note: Must be available to work EST schedule) Team: CRM Aligned Delivery Team - Enhancement to Billing Program/payment process Role: Leading Project Sprint delivery, applying project management skills and leadership competencies in the end-to-end delivery of projects, these projects vary from low complexity projects, and/or subprojects of a large program or Program/ Portfolio Management Office functions.

  • Ensures the planning and execution phases meet the project scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations approved by the project stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • This position could also perform the role of Iteration Manager or Scrum Master under our Software Development Methodology.Required skills:
    • Technical aptitude and proficiency in personal productivity software, as well as visual information management tools. (e.g., MS Office, Azure Dev Ops)
    • Knowledge of Lean and iterative development techniques
    • Knowledge of industry standards, project management methodologies and software development methodology
    • Organizational skills with the ability to execute project objectives through to completion and motivate others to complete deliverables and meet project expectations
    • Experience managing projects and project teams including managing a project schedule, risks, issues, changes, and external dependencies
    • Successful influencing change on their project team, providing options, and making recommendations for project decisions
    • Able to work independently, but know when to seek help
    • Learning agility Preferred skills and experiences:
    • PMP or CAPM certification
    • Scrum/agile experience CSM or PSM a plus
    • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    • Understand the work needing to be completed and work with the lead technical team members to complete work in the most effective way.
    • Participate in Sprint Planning to ensure work is in alignment with monthly and quarterly goals and timelines
    • Facilitate stand up meetings (three times per week), understanding impediments/roadblocks, and taking action to remove them and/or drive them to closure to support the team in meeting its projected sprint velocity and that planned work is being completed in a timely manner
    • Facilitate sprint reviews (bi-weekly) and retrospectives (monthly). Ensure that we take action in apply learnings to improve future velocity and quality.
    • Own the sprint velocity, examining data, taking appropriate actions and looking for ways to improve
    • Set incremental sprint milestones for mainframe work that is scheduled to take longer than one sprint to complete
    • Provide standard sprint metrics for the leadership (planned, completed, carried points, baseline reporting, etc.)
    • Attend sponsor meetings to present recent accomplishments and upcoming/planned work
    • Ensure defect resolution is occurring in a timely manner
    • Conduct process improvement experiments (if applicable) and document related Lean testimonials.
    • Creates and maintains project management deliverables and artifacts (e.g., plans, schedules, budgets, resource staffing, vendor management) This will include leveraging Azure Dev Ops.
    • Provides transparent, verbal, and written project status and updates to project stakeholders.
    • Planning and facilitating execution of IT software projects. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry.
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline and a minimum of four years related experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.
      • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.
