By investing in technology and a skilled work force, we can offer a superior program focused on serving the long-term care industry.THE ROLE: Mobile PhlebotomistAHA has an exciting opportunity for reliable and dedicated Mobile Phlebotomists who are willing to drive. This is a "mobile" position that offers a limited level of freedom and flexibility that is very different from a hospital or clinical environment. AHA's Mobile Phlebotomists travel to the facilities (ex. Senior Nursing Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, Assisted Living Facilities, or private homes) we service to obtain blood specimens from the residents who are mostly geriatric. AHA's Mobile Phlebotomists are responsible for:drawing blood from patients following venipuncture protocolscompleting pertinent paperwork such as, facility logs and requisitionspreparing tube labels correctly and legiblysubmitting accurate payroll time sheets and work/travel mileage logs to Supervisoradhering to facility rules (being punctual, dressing appropriately, and following protocol regarding any issues that may arise)picking-up other specimens from the facilities in assigned routetransporting collected specimens timely to the designated locationSalary Range: $500-750 weekly. Requirements:JOB REQUIREMENTS:valid state-issued Driver Licenseclean driving record for last 5-yearsown reliable transportationrequired auto insurance coverage (100/300/100) in employee's nameclean criminal history as required for positions with direct patient caresome states require additional background check including fingerprintingminimum of 1-year work experience as a phlebotomistmust possess a passion towards SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICEEvidence of COVID-19 vaccination for all personnel and affiliates who will be present at a facility, required.
