Benesch is proud to announce the opening for an HR People Systems
Analyst in our Cleveland office. This position is hybrid and has
work from home flexibility.
Position Summary:
The HR People Systems Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the
data management, business administration, support, analysis, and
continuous improvement efforts for the suite of people platforms
used by the firm, including but not limited to ADP (HRIS),
ApplicantPro (ATS), Plansource (benefits administration system),
VI/Aderant (law firm-specific performance management, integration,
work allocation, recruiting, operating system) and a number of
vendor/partner interfaces with regular data feeds. The HR People
Systems analyst ensures the day-to-day administration of the
systems is handled efficiently and effectively by taking timely
action to resolve service desk requests, manage routine systems
configuration and maintenance, respond to business questions, and
perform root cause analysis of any issues. Additionally, this
position will develop and conduct training for end users in the
organization and act as the people systems lead on related special
projects and system upgrades.
Essential Functions:
Data Maintenance & Reporting
1. Responsible for HR data input for changes, updates,
terminations, and updated demographic information.
2. Timely creation and distribution of monthly and ad hoc reporting
needs.
3. Ability to create compelling visuals, graphics, and data
depictions to convey compelling information easily.
4. Supports data collection for compensation survey completion.
5. Provides timely responses to people data inquiries to support
RFPs, presentations, or other client requests.
6. Proactively builds relationships and collaborates with key
internal partners, including finance, payroll, marketing, practice
management and communications to support data request needs.
System Management, Maintenance & Security:
1. Manages HR/People systems, related user support functions, user
training, and work-balancing efforts for the systems,
including:
2. Serves as initial point of contact for HR/People systems support
concerns, to interfaces and coordinate with internal and outsourced
project teams, collaborate on system implementation and special
projects.
3. Develops and manages metrics and reporting to identify and
enable continuous improvement efforts.
4. Supports system owners in creating reporting tools, standard
reports, ad hoc reports and the evaluation of additional reporting
packages to streamline reporting efforts, as need
5. Develops and/or enhances HR/People system administration and
support policies, procedures, and support documentation.
6. Is first point of contact with Information Technology to
identify and coordinate HR/People system business solutions and
objectives, including:
7. Performs other HR department analytical projects as
required.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Builds effective relationships and fosters a collaborative
approach to working with internal clients across practice groups
and with management.
2. Identifies areas of continuous improvement and updates across
teams and platforms.

Qualifications:
The HR People Systems Analyst should have a bachelor's degree in
computer science, information technology, human resources, or a
related field. Expert knowledge in HRIS systems, system
integrations, file feed management and advanced data analysis and
reporting skills. A minimum of five (5) years of experience with HR
systems, and experience with ADP is strongly preferred. Must have a
demonstrated understanding of project management and change
management disciplines.
The HR People Systems Analyst must have exceptional customer
service, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. A
demonstrated ability to produce results within tight timeframes and
simultaneously manage several projects is essential. Must have a
willingness to work a flexible schedule and the hours needed to
accomplish the Firm expectations. Must be able to anticipate
problems and issues and exercise independent judgment to make
sound, justifiable decisions and take action in solving problems
while knowing when and to whom to escalate issues.
