Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening
and recommending candidates
for agency positions, using various methods to recruit and network
with potential candidates.
The Recruiter will identify opportunities to build an applicant
pool through college/university
relationships & events, online channels, etc. Perform talent
acquisition activities such as
reviewing resumes, facilitating phone screens, and other
interviews, as needed, etc. Job
responsibilities may fall outside of regular business hours, and
could include up to 15% travel.
All Agency staff are expected to focus on Quality improvement as a
part of their job
responsibilities, in an effort to make the Agency a safe and
healing environment for clients and
staff. This expectation includes, but is not limited to teamwork,
improving service delivery,
fulfilling department goals, and other job-specific tasks that
encourage excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the responsibility of
each employee to be a

Statement of Faith. Further, each employee is responsible for
dealing with others with a Christlike attitude while helping them
experience their worth in Christ, and for demonstrating

Job-specific essential functions include the following:
Makes every effort to maintain a 'team first' spirit and atmosphere
within the workplace
environment - fostering and maintaining appropriate working
relationships within the
Human Resources team, and with other Agency departments, as
well.
Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to
support the agency.
Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) providing training to
hiring managers.
Reviews & assesses applicants through ATS & screening candidates
via phone, video, email, etc.
Responds timely to all communications and applicant requests.
Source potential applicants through online channels, including but
not limited to job
boards, recruitment sites, online job boards, LinkedIn, social
media, and professional networks, as well as print media, as
needed. This includes posting and updated jobs, as well.
as updating/maintaining agency accounts on all sites.
Represents agency internally, as well as at recruiting events, job
fairs, and other regional
hiring/recruiting events, providing agency/job information. Gives
presentations at colleges,
universities, student group meetings, etc. and increases college
awareness of the company
before and after career fairs and other events.
Promotes employee referral bonus program.
Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and
strategies based on available
positions, industry standards, and the needs of the agency.
Researches and recommends
new sources of active and passive candidate recruiting.
Fosters and maintains relationships with potential candidates and
past applicants.
Coordinates with hiring managers to determine qualifications and
competencies needed
for positions, and create list of questions for each open position.
Follows-up with managers
to determine effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
Documents hiring and recruiting processes.
Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system,
recruiting reports and other
staffing administrative functions, as needed.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
and regulations, as well
as agency policies/procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
Management or
related field or equivalent combination of education and
experience; Two to four years of talent
recruiting experience strongly preferred, including demonstrated
ability to source, recruit, and
hire talent. HR credential (SHRM preferred) is preferred, but not
required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Exceptional verbal and written communication
skills. Excellent interpersonal
skills/ability to communicate professionally, including negotiation
skills. Ability to effectively
present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to read and comprehend
simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use
simple equations.
REASONING ABILITIES: Ability to apply common sense, understanding
to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual
should have ability to use a
computer efficiently, with specific familiarity with the internet,
as well as Microsoft Office Suite,
and associated collaboration tools (Teams, etc.). Proficiency
navigating social media, job boards,
LinkedIn, etc. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn
applicant tracking software and/or other
recruitment systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Ohio Driver's License
and maintains a driving
record that allows that individual to be insurable with the
insurance company, as this job could
include up to 15% travel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are
representative of those that
must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential
functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
required to walk; climb or
balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to
stand; sit; use hands, reach with arms. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds. The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of
stress is also a necessity. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
distance vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus, as this job requires the employee to
maintain licensure and drive a motor
vehicle in the state of Ohio.
