Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 26 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a weekday day shift assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a radiology/magnetic resonance imaging setting focused on routine neuro, body, and musculoskeletal exams - Utilize Siemens MRI scanners including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto - No cardiac exams are performed - Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shifts - No call, weekends, or holidays required - Flexible contract length between 13 and 26 weeks - Responsibilities include performing routine neuro, body, and MSK MRI exams using Siemens equipment - No cardiac imaging duties are required - First-time travelers are accepted for this position - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation - PBDS assessment is waived - Recent permanent employees must wait one year before returning - All requested time off should be discussed during the interview - Dress code and scrub details to be provided during onboarding Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist, with at least 18 months permanent experience in MRI prior to travel - Active ARRT (MR) certification required - Active AHA BLS certification required - Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required - Permanent Ohio license in hand or compact license accepted if applicable—license required if applicable - Two supervisory references in the MRI specialty, including one from the past 12 months and one from the most recent travel assignment if applicable - Must be nicotine free with a negative 10-panel plus cotinine drug screen within 12 months of start - Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-595469.
