Heart Failure ICU is looking for Registered Nurses interested in

Heart Failure ICU may be the right choice for you! The Heart
Failure ICU is a 10 bed heart failure specialty care unit that
cares for the adult patient population experiencing heart failure.
Most of the patients have a chronic heart failure condition that
are being treated with aggressive intravenous inotropes,
vasopressors, and diuretics. Many of the patients in the Advanced
Heart Failure ICU are hemodynamically monitored, may require
mechanical ventilation, intra-aortic balloon pump therapy,
ventricular assist devices, or may be waiting for a heart

Nurse Manager! \n Position Summary \n Essential Functions \n \n
Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship
based nursing care. \n Demonstrates technical skills in care
delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
\n Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to
optimize patient care and clinical operations. \n Develops self and
contributes to the professional practice of nursing. \n Displays
leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational
outcomes. \n \n Required For All Jobs \n \n Performs other duties
as assigned. \n Complies with all policies and standards. \n For
specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation
provided by the department during orientation. \n Must abide by all
requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health
Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of
\n Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address
appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. \n Qualifications Position
Requirements: \n \n Thorough knowledge of nursing process and
practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet
patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. Stethoscopes,
thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
\n \n Education Requirements: \n \n Bachelor of Science in Nursing
preferred. \n Minimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from
accredited program. \n \n License Requirements: \n \n Registered
nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio. \n
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart
Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation \n \n
