stabilize-and-transfer model for higher-acuity trauma* Close
transfer relationships with regional Level III trauma centers*
Low-to-moderate patient volume typical of a rural ED* Broad-scope
emergency medicine with a mix of medical, minor trauma, and limited
high-acuity cases* Physicians practice with a high level of
autonomy* Trauma and specialty cases stabilized on site and
