Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse - 3x12-Hour Shift/n/n Location/n Ohio /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day shift, 3 -12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. /n/nJob Description/n The Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse will provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, manage a variety of patient needs and health conditions, and implement care plans in coordination with other healthcare professionals. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. /n - Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings. /n - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. /n - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment. /n - Document all patient care and observations accurately and in a timely manner. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. /n - Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State License required. /n - BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS certification to be obtained prior to start. /n - Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required. /n - Passing score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is mandatory. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
