Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Radiologic Technologist with strong proficiency in fluoroscopy and
outpatient/ER imaging is needed for a 13-week contract in Warren,
MI. This role operates under the direction of a Radiologist to
perform a variety of radiologic procedures, ensuring accurate
diagnostic imaging and patient safety in adherence to department
protocols and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare
patients for radiologic examinations, explaining procedures and
obtaining relevant clinical information. - Perform radiographic
procedures manually, utilizing independent judgment for positioning
and technique. - Administer intravenous contrast media when
required and monitor patients for reactions. - Implement radiation
safety measures including shielding and dose reduction practices. -
Prepare and maintain procedure rooms with necessary sterile
equipment and supplies. - Complete accurate documentation in
patient records, PACS, and Radiology Information System (RIS). -
Support clinical protocols in collaboration with Radiologists. -
Contribute to trainee education while managing primary
responsibilities. - Uphold departmental standards in communication,
teamwork, and professional conduct. Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT-R and
BLS certifications. - Fluency in fluoroscopy, especially with
gastrointestinal procedures, and experience with outpatient and
emergency room exams. - Familiarity with EPIC technology and
PACS/RIS systems. - Availability to work the assigned schedule:
7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with every third weekend from 2:00 p.m. to
10:30 p.m., transitioning after May 18th to 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
for all shifts. - Willingness to work holiday shifts as required.
