POSITION SUMMARY: Are you a leader who inspires, coordinates, and
elevates care for the youngest members of our community? The Infant
and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Clinical Supervisor plays
a pivotal role in shaping the future of young children and families
by leading Applewood Centers’ IECMH programs within the In
Home/Home Based Department. This dynamic leader provides vision,
direction, and hands-on clinical and administrative supervision to
a dedicated IECMH Team, ensuring the highest quality of care and
support. The Clinical Supervisor oversees and drives the success of
IECMH grants, contracts, and treatment services—making a difference
in the lives of children across Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. This
is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with program
leadership, empowering families and strengthening communities
through mental health services QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Master’s
Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or
related field. Valid Ohio LISW, LPCC, or LIMFT required Core
Expertise: Possesses skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the
essential duties of their role; keeps knowledge up to date.

problems and responds appropriately; gathers information and sorts
through it to identify and address root cause issues; makes timely
decisions. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a
mental health setting with a minimum of one (1) year supervisory
experience. Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the
Agency’s insurance company. Must be approved by Applewood to
transport clients in own vehicle. Must have prior experience
providing service to children ages 0-6 RESPONSIBILIES INCLUDE:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision and leadership to
the IECMH program and staff. Provide training to community child
care staff or agency direct service as needed. In cooperation with
the Director of Home & School Based services, develop,
administrate, and be responsible for the IECMH program grants and
contracts. Expand and grow service deliveries to increase funding
sources, referral sources and revenue generating client base.
Provides consultation and input on intake decisions as requested
and assist with the Intake Department in coordinating referrals for
the department programs. Screen and assign to staff cases that are
appropriate for IECMH services and track all referrals that are
being made to the program as well as waitlists. Assure that
standards/regulations set by accrediting and/or licensing bodies
are maintained by IECMH & IH Services staff. Conduct or coordinate
staff training that will provide the skills necessary to implement
the IECMH programs. Train and develop staff in documentation skills
and monitors adherence to agency policies and procedures. Monitor
and ensure staff compliance with required timelines on the
completion of clinical documents, case summaries, outcomes or other
requirements of the agency or program in accordance with applicable
licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. Maintain
supervision records throughout the year toward complete and
accurate performance evaluations for each assigned staff member.
Represent the agency in the development or maintenance of
relationships with other organizations including child care
centers, sister agencies, public agencies, funders and referral
sources. Participate in Wingspan Committees as appropriate. Assure
that the staff maintains high standards of ethical and professional
conduct. Maintain supervision records throughout the year toward
complete and accurate performance evaluations for each assigned
staff member. Track staff productivity on a weekly basis and
assists, as needed, with the development of improvement strategies.
Complete QI/QA reviews for clinical services, monitor QI/QA results
for assigned staff, develops plans of correction as needed and
follow up to ensure that corrections have been completed.
Participate in the interviewing and selection of candidates for
clinical positions within the agency. Collaborate with agency staff
and administration on behalf of program changes. Apply professional
training to revise and update supervisory and clinical practice.
Maintain a good on-time attendance record. Perform other duties as
assigned. OTHER DUTIES: Attend scheduled staff meetings,
supervision, and on-going training. All required trainings,
certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance
with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and
standards. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence
all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All
client-related documents should be handled in accordance with
Agency guidelines on confidential material. Maintain high standards
of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies
and procedures. Maintain awareness of industry trends and
professional knowledge by attending agency training, maintaining
continuing education standards and reviewing professional
