Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EOW/EOH required. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required. Charge training/shadowing is offered. Description: This unit has a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. Typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients and post-op bariatric surgery patients. Other general medical/surgical patients may also be included. This unit has available step-down beds. These beds are not dedicated or reserved and will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down patients. While efforts are made to ensure step-down patients are assigned to unit staff, assignments may vary. Travelers may need to care for step-down patients.
