Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - Night/Day Shift Location Cleveland, Ohio Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); rotating shifts. Job Description The position requires working in the CVICU department, providing critical care to patients. Applicants must be flexible with shifting rotations based on operational needs. Responsibilities - Provide high-quality care to CVICU patients. - Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Must have 18 months of permanent experience in the CVICU specialty. - Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. - Travel experience in the specialty may substitute for some of the required experience. - One professional reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty is mandatory.
