Ohio Nursing Job Details - Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Location: Canton, Ohio 44708 - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract - Start Date: February 13, 2026 - End Date: May 15, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30), 36 hours/week - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1610 - Openings: 3 ER RN positions available Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Emergency Department RN experience required - Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (must be in hand) - Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (AHA or American Red Cross) - Epic EHR/EMR charting experience - Two recent professional references from ER nurse leadership (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) within the last 12 months - Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation - Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract - No open background cases or nursing license issues ER Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy ER setting - Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions - Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as directed by healthcare providers - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes - Document patient care and interventions accurately using Epic EHR - Participate in clinical assessments and ongoing nursing education modules - Maintain compliance with hospital, nursing, and healthcare policies and best practices Ready to join one of Ohio's leading healthcare teams?
