For a full list of benefits, click here. - Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. This is a full-time position. Calls and schedules are reviewed in interview. Shifts will not be assigned until after orientation. Six-month orientation for future caregivers who are new to OR specialty fields regardless of prior RN experience. Orientation is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Participate in a residency core curriculum based on surgery core learning needs. - Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. - Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability). - Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. - Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. - Document in patients’ medical records Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) - New grad RN OR less than one year of RN work experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
