Patient Care Locations: MetroHealth Main Campus Medical Center - Glick Center MetroHealth Physical Rehab Institute Parma Medical Center Cleveland Heights Medical Center Patient Populations: Emergency Departments Acute Care Inpatient Specialty Units Adult Intensive Care Units Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Labor and Delivery Postpartum Care Primary skills utilized/learned: Invasive and Non-invasive ventilation management Evidence-based patient driven protocol pathways Critical thinking and time management Multi-disciplinary patient care management Personnel RRT will work with: RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment. Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
