This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex
Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend
and one 12-hour shift during the week. Weekend shift options start
at 7:00pm on Fridays and end at 7:30am on Mondays. While you are
only working 36 hours a week, Cleveland Clinic will pay you for 44
hours of work and give you full-time status and benefits. This
schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week
with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not
interfere with a typical day shift schedule. A caregiver in this
position works days on the weekends, about 36 hours per week. A
caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide nursing care in an
operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive
procedures. Perform scrub and circulating functions. Prepare the
OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use. Minimum
qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate
from an accredited school of professional nursing Current state
licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or
American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. If you do
not hold this certification, you must obtain it within six months
of hire One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland
Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program Preferred qualifications
for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor of science in
nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body
motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger
dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking
for extensive periods of time. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50
pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force
frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force
constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in
excess of those for Light Work. Occasionally lifts and carries
items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and
navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodically.
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using
personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range
displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for
new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be
determined after taking factors into consideration such as the
candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The
pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices
(e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not
