The G80 Internal Medicine Unit offers internal medicine, telemetry, behavioral health and nutritional services. Caregivers in this unit gain exposure to various specializations, fostering strong assessments skills, a wealth of clinical knowledge and continuous learning. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and deliver healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to propel your nursing career. A caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend, from 7:00PM – 7:30AM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Provide direct nursing care. - Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. - Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments. - Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. - Educate patients and their families. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Personal Protective Equipment: - Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
