Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent cardiac stepdown experience. Travel experience will suffice. Must have ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with an acceptable score on both. One reference from a supervisor in the specialty is required for submission. Description: This position is for a nurse in a stepdown unit. Shifts will alternate between night and day. Nurses must work at least every other holiday. The facility reserves the right to rotate shifts as needed to meet operational needs. Candidates will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation and must score acceptably on both. A background check will be conducted, and travelers with specific issues will not be considered. Nursing staff must adhere to nicotine-free policies unless exempted.
