organizations in the nation. Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital's
Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is a 26-bed nursing unit that
provides treatment to patients suffering from various medical
problems, such as sepsis, altered mental status, diabetic
ketoacidosis (DKA), stroke, and post-cardiac arrest hypothermia, as
well as monitors patients requiring suicide and overdose
monitoring. As an RN on this unit, you will interact directly with
patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance
their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. How

Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety
as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents
and providing safety resources. This is a regular PRN position,
with caregivers working a day/night rotation varying between 7:00
a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday requirements. A caregiver
who excels in this role will:? Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and
communicate patients’ conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of
all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry
out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’
discharge needs. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future
caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited School of
Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure
as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or
within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse
Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon hire or within 24 months
of beginning work in the Emergency Department External candidates:
two years of recent related nursing experience Internal candidates
with less than two years of experience, but are
post-orientation/90-day probationary period, may be considered with
CNO level review and approval Licensed military RN experience will
be considered Preferred qualifications for the ideal future
caregiver include: Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) Critical
care background Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body
motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger
dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking
for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing
to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and
irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body
fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move
objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for
Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard
precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay
Range Minimum hourly: $41.00 Maximum hourly: $41.00 The pay range
displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for
new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be
determined after taking factors into consideration such as the
candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The
pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices
(e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not
