within Hillcrest Hospital’s Labor and Delivery Unit. When an
expected mother arrives in the primary ED, they are triaged and
directed to the correct path of care. Many will be taken directly
to a dedicated OB area. By doing this the wait times will be
shorter, and the staff is specially trained in obstetrics and women
can be seen by a staff OB/Gyn practitioner. As an RN, you will
assist fellow caregivers in providing patients with exceptional
care, from initial admission to discharge with baby. You will also
benefit from education in comprehensive electronic fetal
monitoring, breastfeeding support and Kangaroo Care alongside a
dedicated team of Maternal-Fetal Physicians and Certified Nurse

Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority,
identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing
safety resources. A caregiver in this position works night shift
from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. on call with every other weekend and
holiday rotation requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role
will: Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate,
update, and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document
and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed
medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and
nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families. Minimum qualifications for the
ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited School
of Professional Nursing Current state licensure as a Registered
Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
(AHA) One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN
experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver
include: Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) In-patient bedside

-2/ Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion
including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger
dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking
for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing
to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and

fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or

objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for
Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard
precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay
Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range
displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for
new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be
determined after taking factors into consideration such as the
candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The
