Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. /n Qualifications Education /n /n - Master's Degree in Food & Nutrition (Required) or /n - Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition if established eligibility for the registration examination for dietitians on or before December 31, 2023 (Required) /n /n Work Experience /n /n - 3 years Working as a clinical dietitian in a health care facility (may include Supervised Practice Program) (Preferred) /n /n Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities /n /n - Completion of an ACEND accredited Supervised Practice Program. (Required proficiency) /n - Competent skills to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) & apply the nutrition care process to patient care. (Required proficiency) /n - Competent skills to evaluate and recommend nutrition needs based on the specific combined objective/subjective information for a clinical nutrition assessment. (Required proficiency) /n - Analytical skills to assess patient’s condition & provide appropriate interventions. (Required proficiency) /n - Exhibits appropriate & effective communication/interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, physicians and other health care professionals. (Required proficiency) /n /n Licenses and Certifications /n /n - Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Ohio (Required Upon Hire) /n - Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Required Upon Hire) /n - Maintains the required continuing education credits for Registration and License.
