Job Title: RN Invasive Cardiology Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0630-1700, 0700-1700, 0800-1800 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant position License: Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio Certifications: ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association only Must-Have: - Cath Lab experience - Preoperative and postoperative skills - Experience with monitoring and sedation of patients - Proficiency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring such as IABP and IMPELLA - Experience with ventilator management Description: Care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures. Will be assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to stand for extended periods. Required to see in the normal vision range with or without correction. Must be able to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to lift 250-300 lbs. with assistance. Ability to push/pull up to 500 lbs. with assistance. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products. Network access and/or applications needed include EPIC, XPER, and Change Health Care. Holiday coverage required.
